If I don't do this then I have to force kill and my project file becomes corrupt, thus recover at startup again.CDock is priced at $4.99, but there’s a free trial available so you can try before you buy. ![]() So my only work around is to open the project on my laptop screen when my USB Type C dock is disconnected, then reconnect the dock and it will then move to big screen. Open on big screen, open converted CC 2018 project, black screen and spinning colour disc. Project converted and works, just needs a re-render. ![]() Then plugged in USB Type C dock and Premiere pro moved to big screen. Opened CC 2018, opened 2017 project, loaded and converted in seconds. I run CC 2018 - then opened my 2017 project, assets came up in bottom left and conversion started but everything else black and spinning coloured disc, tried this about 6 different times and waited up to 10 minutes, no go.ĭisconnected my USB Type C dock, so now only MacBook screen.
